Wedding Speech for my closest friend

I just got back from one of my closest friends wedding in Denver. I was asked to give a speech at the rehearsal dinner and instead of writing it before hand - I went up onstage on "winged it"

To be perfectly honest, I didn't do a great job with the speech and I feel just terrible about it. If i would have put in the time ahead of time, I would be much happier with my speech.

Everything is on tape and will be with us for YEARS to come - I just wish I would have put more time into it prior.

My advice is to put a little time in it - it will be with you for years to come and is a great honor of your friendship!
